dati kasi ginawa kong yukkie[laruku] ung buhok ko[ung hair style nya during live] ehehehe
nung high school ako... hmmmm... parang mala tetsu ung hair ko [pinaputol ko kasi ahahaha ]
Chibi-kun - June 3, 2006 05:18 AM (GMT)
@kohana - try using some syrums for your hair to help treat it so it doesnt look so frizzy and gives it a more natural and healthy look to it. Straighteners I like to use alot to help keep my bangs straight and just sleek it out. but straighteners can cause damanges to hair, so to help reduce the damage whenever I do anything to my hair, I use Pantene Pro V treatmeant. Or any syrum that should help.
try getting it layered alittle bit to give it a little more of a style and having uneven bangs, straightened and pushed to one side is becoming very popular ever since BoA did her hair like that, and so did Nami as well as Mika Nakashima.
the same concept should apply to leciel, my sister has the same problem but she gets her hair treated once a year, kasi we use a powerful chemical here in the states, I suggest investing in a straightener as well and some hair syrums and just playing around with it.
kohana - June 4, 2006 01:53 AM (GMT)
@chibi-kun
ok...
i'll try that...
thank you....
geeky.yuki.arima - June 22, 2006 02:21 PM (GMT)
kung gusto nyo magpa-straight, mas maganda ata sa jun encarnacion..
mas mura pa.. kaysa going straight..
pero never pa ako nagpa-straight..
esp the one in black container..
it gives a mat and hard finish..
matigas talaga..
at higit sa lahat hindi mukhang oily/ matubig/ shiny sa buhok..
pero mahal sya kaysa gel..

i just had done really stupid lately... during the vacation, i decided to put on highlights (thinking no one in the school admin would mind, plus thinking that it won't be noticable)
I told the girl in the parlor that i want DARK RED highlights. For it not to be THAT noticable... then when the treatment was done, it was LIGHT BROWN... not red but LIGHT BROWN!
*sigh* and now, everyone in school sees me super semi highlighted hair... and the teachers did to. From the first day of classes, until now... i always wear my hair in a tight bun... i can't do my favorite hairstyles anymore...
I'm shy to tell my mom that i have to dye it black again, (coz you know, she paid for the highlights and she's gunna pay again for the dye thing. What a waste of money)
Will i wear my hair in a bun all year and let the highlighted hair grow out or will I dye it?
suggestions please >.<
geeky.yuki.arima - June 25, 2006 10:37 PM (GMT)
^ dye it on your own.. just buy a black hair dye and apply it yourself..
that would definitely be cheaper..
Chibi-kun - June 26, 2006 08:36 AM (GMT)
@Kupa - you would have gotten better luck if you did the highlights yourself. Now, you have two options.
1.) redye your hair back to black by buying a kit and doing it yourself. I can suggest a few good brands since I dye my own hair quite alot.
or if you want to keep the highlights but not let them be visible while at school, run a black mascara through the visible highlights so you can wear your hair in your favorite styles. Black mascara covers well enough and washes off in the shower.
kulapesh - June 26, 2006 09:35 AM (GMT)
wai! thanks for the suggestions! I had already dyed it... black! ^_^
and as for the mascara, i already tried it and it was so messy! hahaha! I mean, yeah, not many people noticed it but my hair became harder and whenever i touch my hair, hy hand turns black, lol!
anyway, thanks for the suggestion! peace!

For future references, it might have been the brand/type of mascara you used. I've actually used some pretty good mascara that didnt really leave my hair stiff and whatnot. Coz I sometimes use them for quick cosplay highlights. Whenever I cosplay as Hinata or Sasuke and my hair doesnt appear blue enough, I just apply on some blue mascara and pop the colors come out! :P
kulapesh - June 26, 2006 09:54 AM (GMT)
wai! chibi-kun, please give me a brand of a good colored mascara ^_^ I'd like red, blue and green ^_^ meron bang ganun? nyahaha
Chibi-kun - June 26, 2006 06:19 PM (GMT)
I own blue, I've seen red and green before. But the brand I use for blue currently is Avon and Revlon. Suprisingly I found it in one of their catalogs and I know Avon carries the red one as well.
Theres another kind of mascara especially formulated for your eye brows. Alot of cosplayers use it to tint their eyebrows to match their wigs. It works better than real mascara coz I also sometimes use it on my hair for fun and comes in a more assorted range of colors. They even carry pink! >D
its called Claudia Stevens Hair Highlighter. hair highlighter
@Eiri - you posted on my website asking how to do Hyde's hair from blurry eyes vid right? And without having to have a perm.
there are two ways you can do it. A more permanent way and a semi permanent way.
the first option I've thought of is using a curling iron and basically curling your hair into tight crunches like his does. This will take time and will most likely remain more permanent until you wash your hair out. After curling it and styling it to the pony tail that you wanted it to be in. Lightly spray with hair spray to keep in tact.
Another way is while your hair is still semi wet from the shower or after taking a bath. braid a few chunks of your hair into small braids. Basically you'll be having dreadlocks and sleep in them. The next day you wake up or if your in a hurry and your hair dries enough, you can take the braids off and you should produce the same result as the video shows. The tighter you braid, the tighter the 'curls' will appear :D and dont forget to lightly spray with hair spray to keep in place!
To get your hair back to normal, just wash it in the shower and comb through >D

ung buhok ko ang hrap ausin pucha wavy kc dappak
Eiri - June 28, 2006 05:54 PM (GMT)
@Chibi
the topic is about dying and straightening hair right??? o.O
*edit*
woops! ok! found it!
i tried that braiding of hair overnight. ^_^
it doesn't form that good a shape!!! T.T
and the curling iron??? i still havta buy one!!!! T.T
is there no other way??? hihihi!
but i figured something out!
I'm gonna try the braids again...since that's my only option...
but this time, i'll try putting wax on! XD
THEN i'll remove the knots! this is WAY hard!
since my hair is like....(putting hair infront of me) BELLY BUTTON LENGTH!
*i'm sitting by the way*
my arms get so stiff after knotting it....then if it turns out BAD...
MAN! that sucks! hahaha! but i'll give it one last go...
if it still won't work...it's PARLOR TIME!
Chibi-kun - June 29, 2006 03:28 AM (GMT)
@Eiri - when you tried the braiding, did you try it with your hair wet or dry? It works better with wet hair and on a tighter braid. I wouldnt suggest adding wax to it since you'll most likely be sleeping on it and your hair will be wet in the process.
geeky.yuki.arima - June 29, 2006 04:40 AM (GMT)
when you braid your hair, it will result to "s"-shaped form..
however, if you, curling iron (he cylindrical shape) or ordinary curler, you will get "helical" results..
Eiri - June 29, 2006 10:35 AM (GMT)
@Chibi-kun
I tried BOTH dry AND wet...^_^
although...this process gives me split ends and an itchy scalp! hihi! ^_^
and about the wax...
no no no! i meant....a few minutes before removing the braids...^_^
THAT is when i put wax on it...no good? >.<
